Chennai Metro Rail Limited entrusted with the implementation of Chennai Metro Rail Project requires
efficient, experienced and competent persons for the under mentioned post on deputation / contract.
Note: Age, Qualification & experience stipulated above should be as on 28.10.2020. Age may be
relaxed for deserving and experienced candidates.
Higher remuneration / post may be considered in case of candidate possessing higher qualification,
experience and credentiality / expertise in the relevant field. Apart from the consolidated pay, benefits
like Medical, Accident Insurance & Increment will be extended. Post and consolidated pay will be
decided based on the experience and performance in the interview.
Required Qualification and Experience:
(a) Eligibility:
Must be a Graduate Engineer in Electronics or Communication/Electronics Engineering or a
combination of any of these disciplines or equivalent degree.
Should have minimum 7 to 13 years of post-qualification experience with Railways/PSUs/ Engineering
Industry /Consultants/Contractors, covering the following areas:
a. Implementing design, installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance of Electronic Interlocking
Systems for Railway Applications/ AFTC based automatic signaling/ AFTC or Axle-counter based
track detection systems/Train Protection & Warning Systems
b. Technical Tender documents preparation/Tender documents submission /Tender Evaluation /
Contract Management In the above areas.
Implementation of design, installation, commissioning of OFC based back-bone communication
systems, Wi-Fi networks in open bands, MAN/LAN systems, digital/IP exchanges, PA system,
Surveillance system in Railway/Industrial environments, will be an advantage.
